Project experience and our role
A first release or a larger product
Test one essential journey
Start with a focused release: one audience, clear acceptance criteria and the features needed to learn from real use. Our mobile app MVP service has indicative packages from $5,000 and a scope-dependent 2–8 week planning range.
Commission a broader app
Several user roles, custom administration, integrations or a migration require their own plan. We map the workflows and dependencies, investigate uncertain integrations, and divide delivery into reviewable milestones. The MVP tiers are not a ceiling for a larger product.
For example, a customer booking flow may also need staff scheduling, cancellations and notifications. Your proposal identifies which parts we build, which existing services we connect to, and who supplies content, accounts and API access. Hosting, third-party fees and ongoing operation are budgeted separately.

Everything you need to launch
One team handles the entire build — you don't hire a designer, a developer, and a QA engineer separately.
Why founders and businesses choose dedev
You talk to engineers, not salespeople
The scoping call is run by a technical founder. If you don't need an agency yet, we'll tell you and recommend a smaller starting point.
Fixed price means fixed price
The agreed feature list locks the cost. If the build takes longer than we estimated, that's our problem — not a change order.
Production-ready, not a prototype
Agreed user journeys, loading and failure states, real-device testing and release work are included in the delivery plan. Offline behavior and integrations are defined explicitly so the acceptance criteria match your product.
Total transparency while we build
Daily standup notes in Slack, daily pushes to a repo you own, weekly demo videos, and QA reports every two days.

Common questions
How much does mobile app development cost?
Focused MVP packages start at $5,000, with tiers at $8,000 and from $12,000. Larger products are scoped separately around their workflows, integrations and release plan. A written proposal confirms deliverables, exclusions, price and milestones; new scope is priced before it is added.
How long does it take to build an app?
Scoped MVP packages have a 2–8 week planning range. Larger products and complex integrations need a tailored timeline. Your proposal sets milestones and dependencies, including client feedback and store review.
Who owns the code?
You receive the project source code. The signed agreement defines IP transfer, payment conditions, third-party licenses and handover; we review these before work starts.
Why one codebase for iOS and Android?
A shared codebase can reduce duplicated work across iOS and Android. We assess your product, existing systems and required integrations before recommending Flutter, React Native or a platform-specific approach.
What happens after launch?
30 days of bug fixes are included. After that, keep building with us at $45/hr, scope the next fixed-price milestone, or take the codebase fully in-house — you lose nothing by walking away.
Plan the engagement before you commit
- Budget for app development and the first year of operation — compare build scope, running costs and exclusions.
- Choose a team to build your app — prepare a brief and compare delivery responsibilities.
- Explore MVP packages and feature estimates — then confirm your scope in a proposal.
