Overview
Toyota Connect Middle East is the official connected-car mobile app for Toyota owners across the Middle East. It gives drivers visibility into their vehicle, lets them book service appointments, and surfaces connected features tied to their account. The app ships on iOS and Android from a single Flutter codebase.
The challenge
Shipping a connected-car app at OEM scale means juggling several non-trivial constraints: an enterprise backend with strict authentication, real-time vehicle telemetry, multi-language support across the region, and a UX that has to feel premium because the brand is premium. The team needed to deliver across iOS and Android quickly without sacrificing native feel.
